ECS Federal, LLC Hiring for IT Project Manager at Washington, D.C. Full Time

ECS is seeking an IT Project Manager to work in our Washington DC office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Advise larger enterprise groups and collaborate and coordinate with other government agencies

• Can solve complex challenges or interpret ambiguous tasking
• Create and execute outreach campaigns and communicate effectively with key stakeholders
• Organize program materials so all team-members and or stakeholders have accessed the needed resources, guidance, and information
• Interpret policy and guidance; then, breakdown how should be implemented within the FBI
• Ability to self-start and work tasks independently, if needed
• Ability to pivot activities for priority projects while still attempting to meet deadlines of prior taskings
• Prepare materials for wide audiences and can communicate an idea and/or initiative
• Can organize data to create a narrative then ability to visualize the data
• Project Management Skills: Break down an objective into smaller tasks, identify a timeline and road map to reach the overall objective (s)
• Think ahead for longer term impact
• Proficient in SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint are desired
• Responsible for the full life cycle project management of a wide variety of IT projects.
• Work closely with engineering staff to ensure strict adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, and to ensure successful project execution.
• Regular interface with senior management, design engineers, stakeholders, implementation team members, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Responsible for project initiation, planning, execution and control. Identifies and reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Performance Measures.
• Facilitates definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements and works to resolve or assist in the resolution of cross-divisional resource or project conflicts.
• Strategic Planning, Performance Analysis and Reporting.
• Risk identification, analysis, and mitigation.
• May establish Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and conduct kickoff meetings with all stakeholders. Establish and implement processes and procedures to effectively manage technical portfolios.

Required Skills

• Top Secret Clearance with eligibility to obtain SCI CI Poly Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• 5 + years of experience in IT Project management
• 10+ years of IT related experience
• Experience managing large scale IT projects
• Experience with Atlassian suite of tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities

Familiarity with data collection, processing, validation, and storage

• ITIL, CSM, or SAFe certification preferred
• Strong communications
