Ecoation Hiring for Software Release and Test Engineer (COOP) at Vancouver, BC Full Time

Ecoation is seeking Software Release and Test Engineer Coops to join our team.

Note : this role is only for students currently participating in a coop program and are registered at a Canadian university.

In this role you will :
Coordinate test activities across teams

Review QA documentation, including processes, test cases, test scenarios, and test data

Create, review and maintain test documents

Setup and execute manual tests

Validate hardware build / machine(s)

Analyze test data and write report results

Develop automated tests using Python and Bash

Track and resolve testing defects, remediation, and retesting

Assist and support the other teams on activities as and when needed

Skills and Qualifications :
Education, Skills & Experience

Currently working towards a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

Experience with programming language such as Python and/or Bash

Knowledge of Linux, Github, and Git

Understanding of software development best practices

Passionate about technology

Keen interest in robotics and AI

Eager to learn and solve development problems, both new and familiar

Ability to work independently and successfully as part of a team

Aim to deliver quality products

Excellent communication skills

Ability to learn quickly and adapt
