Ecoation Hiring for Quality Engineer at Vancouver, BC Full Time

Accountabilities:
Reporting to the COO, the Quality Engineer is responsible for:

Creating, implementing, and maintaining a QMS following the principles of ISO 9001

Drive external failure root cause analysis with KPI

Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Process Maps in accordance with standards

Manage the calibration for production and engineering equipment

Drive ecoation’s ECO/ECR process and implementation

Assist qualification of new manufactured quality products

Drive Material Review Board and the analysis and dispositioning of non-conforming materials

Perform training for QMS systems and Engineering processes as required

Manage supplier quality performance and re-evaluation

Manage internal corrective and preventative action (CAPA) process including supplier corrective action reports (SCAR)

Manage validation process

Prepare QA reports and KPIs

Product realization – Development of Design processes

Qualifications:
2+ years diploma in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering

3+ years applicable job experience

Certification through the American Society for Quality (ASQ)

Experience with ISO 9001

Good English communication skills, written and verbal
