ECMS Hiring for Diploma Educator – Eastern Region Job at Doncaster Full Time

We are seeking an enthusiastic Break Cover Educator to join our team at The Merrell Kindergarten, Doncaster Park Kindergarten and Yarra Valley Preschool. This is a unique opportunity to work across one or more services on a part-time basis and build the necessary skills to work in the sector for years to come! We are also seeking casual educators of all qualifications.

• The Merrell Kindergarten: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10:45am – 2:30pm
• Doncaster Park Kindergarten: Wednesday, 1:15pm – 2:30pm
• Yarra Valley Preschool: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 11:30am – 1:30pm

All positions are fixed-term contracts ending in January 2023. Many exciting opportunities after these contracts end.

What will you do?

• Partner with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
• Build trust with the families by respecting diversity and connecting to individual cultural needs. You will work in partnership with parents and encourage their involvement in the program
• Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis

Essential criteria for a Diploma Educator:

• A Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
• Current Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check
• Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
• Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standards
