The Role
In your role as a Software QA Analyst, you will work closely with our development, account management, ITS and project management teams to help them deliver high quality software. You will be testing our Voice (IVR), Web, Mobile, Omni and Payment applications to ensure they operate as designed with minimal defects.
We are looking for someone who is innately curious about technology, is methodical in their approach to testing, will be responsible for design, implementation and execution of tests as defined in the test plan. You will have a strong desire to advance your own technical ability and skills in software quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

Build strong working relationships with developers, account & project managers and ITS

• Become familiar with our product portfolio, technology stack and deployment processes
• Work with project team to understand the client requirements for a project and create test plans in line with the test strategy
• Documentation of the application
• To create test data requirements for maximum test coverage
• Executing manual and automated tests
• Liaise with development team for defect closure
• Document and verify test results
• Keep project team and the Head of QA informed of testing status and outcome
• Produce Test Exit Reports
• Mentor / Support Junior members of the team
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle
• To deliver work to agreed estimates and timescales
• To maintain and develop knowledge, skills and competencies in testing process and tools

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst
• Working experience in Agile Project teams
• Working experience of Source Code Management tools like Gitlab
• Working knowledge of Test Management / Defect Management like XRAY / JIRA
• Documentation skills using collaboration wiki tool like Confluence
• Working experience of SQL and Unix
