EchoNous Inc. – Software Engineer

EchoNous is a medical device startup company in the Seattle area. We are developing AI-driven ultrasound-based tools that will empower all clinicians to solve common everyday problems in healthcare. We are looking for a full-time software engineer to support our product development efforts.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Developing software for the Ultrasound imaging application

• Design, implement and test ultrasound components

• Feature design, implementation, and documentation

• Application and signal path development

• Deliver high quality software components

• Manage deliverables during software development phases including requirements and tests

• Analyzing and solving complex problems

• Work closely with a diverse team of engineers to develop breakthrough technologies that will revolutionize the use of ultrasound devices in the medical community.

Qualifications and Skills:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree

• Minimally 3+ years of experience in Agile Software Development process, scrum, story points estimates, etc…

• Object-oriented programming, design and coding experience in C++, python, Java

• Embedded system development

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle

• Knowledge of software design patterns

• Knowledge on Image and Signal Processing is a plus

• Regulated or Medical device experience a plus

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

• Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment

• Excellent oral and written communications skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with a team focus

• Proactive, self-directed and a self-starter
