Overview:
Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and hourly wages ranging from $21.28 – 23.04 / hr. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility in Lake City, MN! This role provides hands on care and support services for our senior long term residents and transitional care unit patients.
This patient support schedule includes;
- On-call/casual
- Day, evening, over night shifts
- Must pick up three shifts a month; one being a weekend shift

Lake City Care Center is owned by the Mayo Clinic Health System with the daily operations managed by Ebenezer. At any given time, as many as 90 people call the Long Term and Transitional Care Center their home. Our care center is connected to a Mayo clinic and hospital, so residents don’t have to leave the building for a clinic appointment or emergency care if needed.
Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lights
- Nursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitals
- AM/PM cares; including peri care and catheter care
- May turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance
- Observes residents and s status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise manner
- Chart or document in electronic medical record system
- Seeks to resolve resident and family concerns
- Receives and gives to appropriate staff during various times in work shift
- Other duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, s malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely manner
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active on MN Nursing Assistant registry
- If hired into the Ebenezer’s Pre-CNA job, granted a 4-month grace period from hire date to be active on the MN Nursing Assistant registry
Preferred:
- Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population
- Communicate efficiently, with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkers
- Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant
- Work experience in a customer service setting
