Aurora on France is state of the art senior community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. Located conveniently near Hwy. 62 and France Ave. and is on a bus line. Aurora has 136 units offering a full continuum of care including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility! This role provides hands on care and support services for our senior residents.
This patient support position includes;
- 48 hours in 2 weeks
- Night shift
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lights
- Nursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitals
- AM/PM cares; including peri care and catheter care
- May turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance
- Observes residents and s status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise manner
- Chart or document in electronic medical record system
- Seeks to resolve resident and family concerns
- Receives and gives to appropriate staff during various times in work shift
- Other duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, s malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely manner
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active on MN Nursing Assistant registry
- If hired into the Ebenezer Nursing Assistant program, granted a 4-month grace period from hire date to be active on the MN Nursing Assistant registry
Preferred:
- Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population
- Communicate efficiently, with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkers
- Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant
- Work experience in a customer service setting
