As Junior Shopify Developer you will be part of a unique industry that strives to improve the site on a daily basis. This candidate needs to be available daily and have great communication. A willingness to learn and have a keen eye for detail is very much needed.

This starts as a contract part-time job. For the right candidate it can turn into a full-time position in the future.

Responsibilities

-Strong eye for clean, responsive, and forward-looking design and code

-Build and manage integrations to 3rd party systems

–Very good knowledge of speed optimization and ways to improve the site. Must understand all information GT Metrix provides. Must understand a waterfall.

-Able to QA features the Senior Developer created.

-Check site for performance on a daily basis and find any issues the site may have.

-Must be able to assist the Senior Developer in tasks.

-Must be able to quickly debug site issues.

-Must understand clean minimal coding.

-Must have a willingness to learn new things.

-Must have daily communication

Qualifications

-3+ years of Front End Development

-3+ years of Javascript – Must be able to sift through the garbage app coding. Need to be able to re-code the javascript without any bugs.

-3+ years CSS

-3+ years Shopify Plus experience

-Shopify API

-Node JS is a plus

-3+ years of Liquid and JSON

-2+ years Knowledge of Bitbucket and Jira

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
