Database Administrator Overview::
ebbo is searching for a Database Administrator who is highly motivated, collaborative with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our IT team. You will work very closely with the Mgr. Database Administrator regarding all aspects of our database systems. Including both OLTP and Data Warehouse architectures. You will join a highly skilled IT organization utilizing the latest technologies to develop high-traffic websites, web services, mobile applications, business analytics and ing.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Database Administrator::

• Work with the application development teams to design the SQL Server/Postgres OLTP database schema.
• Work with the data warehouse team to build and support the enterprise data warehouse.
• Database Design, software installation and upgrade, database backup & recovery, overall performance monitoring, capacity planning, and database security.
• Provide database support, including ad hoc data request, database query, SQL profiling, index optimization, and stored procedure design. Using tools like SolarWinds and Redgate.
• Manage database replication for multiple databases (on-prem & cloud platform).
• Setup and Manage Always On availability groups for SQL server.
• Responsible for maintaining 24/7 database availability.

Skills and Experience of the Database Administrator::

• 5+ years of experience in database administration, performance tuning. e.g., SQL Server DBA, Postgres, MySQL.
• Experience in AWS/Azure or other cloud platform.
• Experience designing/managing Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake.
• Understanding of ETL processes and tools.
• Experience with SSRS, SSIS, table indexing, views, backups, SQL server log reviews, error corrections, database creation/changes, and scheduled replication of databases.
• This is a hybrid role with 2 days in office and 3 days remote.

Salary Range: $135,000 – $140,000
