We are looking for a Customer Advocate / Tech Rep to join our team and help ensure that our customers receive the best possible service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to handle difficult customer situations with patience and professionalism, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. The Customer Advocate / Tech Rep will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving customer complaints, and providing support for customer requests.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Sales Management to develop plans and measurables for new products, customers and revenues
• Assist in finding applications and sales for materials in non-sellable statuses
• By addressing customer advocate issues, free up more Regional Sales Managers’ time for new and increased business development
• Review lost opportunities with customers and determine appropriate preventive course of action to capture business.
• Primary point of contact to communicate detail with Customer Quality Departments on problem solving matters and product issues
• Coordinate with ESB Quality, our mills, customers and internal departments on all claims to ensure very timely resolution with supporting documentation and accounting for all debit/credit memos
• Attend on site customer visits to gather, and interpret product related matters
• Supporting role in resolution, as needed, in claims processing and documentation
• Facilitate Sales deviation requests and approvals
• Participate in process reviews and document control administration
• Manage and coordinate contract review/sales corrective and preventative action requests
• Identify and implement continual improvement initiatives for Sales/Contract Review
• Interface with internal and external laboratories on testing matters
• Develop product testing parameters
• Participation in customer visits or other activities to resolve matters regarding first time submissions or other customer concerns
• Perform customer surveys (Customer Feedback)
• Perform and assist with capability studies for new and existing processes and equipment
• Interface with Apollo on New/Revised Recipe Development
• Approve PPAP Documents prior to submission to customer
• Approve / verify the accuracy of all new part specs for before the first shipment to new customers.
• Provide input in the development of part specs, routings, etc
• Follow-up with customers after the first shipment of material to ensure satisfaction and obtain feedback to incorporate for future improvement
• Champion all AQP activities by meeting with all stakeholders to ensure all activities are being completed as planned
• Train individuals, as required, in cold drawn processing techniques, testing and metallurgical criteria

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57.00 – $65.00 per hour
