Full Job Description

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst. This is a hybrid-remote role (2 days work from home after initial training period) based out of our Orchard Park, NY location. The Orchard Park facility has approximately 400 employees and is a leader in the design, manufacture, and test of high precision Aerospace components.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $62250.03 – $91300.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

The Supply Chain Analyst will be Responsible for analyzing, communicating, managing, and ing key business data related to the supply chain function. Responsible for leading the supply chain team on proper data analysis and metric ing to support business operational improvements and better understanding of the supply chain issues.


In this function you will:

  • Develop and communicate standard s to support the supply chain team to execute the business operations.
  • Work with Supply Chain Program Managers and Supply Chain Managers to develop new s to help drive improvement with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Lead and support the usage of data tools across the business by leveraging standard Eaton tools as well as exploring other tools that would bring benefits to the business operations.
  • Support the business profit plan by analyzing current state and future state metrics and recommend action plans to achieve the profit plan.
  • Review and maintain supplier lead-times in business system.
  • Work with the commodity team to ensure that supplier communication and related metrics are in support of the integrated product team’s (IPT) needs.
  • Maintain performance management key performance indicators (KPI) and participate in performance management meetings with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Drive continuous improvement by making recommendations with analysis and participate in rapid improvement events (RIE) to drive operational improvements.
  • Maintain and continue the development of the purchasing Systems and Procedures with key processes and supporting documentation.
  • Lead the supply chain team to ensure all procurement data is clean and accurate


Qualifications:


Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Continuous Improvement
  • 1+ years of experience workign with industry enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools and databases
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee or Refugee.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Orchard Park, NY facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity and track record of utilizing MRP, in an Oracle environment
  • Experience in establishing material systems
  • Strong computer and analytical skills combined with the ability to manage, analyze, and summarize large amounts of data.
  • Proficiency to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (MOS), specifically Excel.
