EASYRECRUE Hiring for Systems Accountant Job at Fortitude Valley Full Time

RPS has an exciting 12 month fixed term opportunity available for an experienced Systems Accountant to join our team based in Fortitude Valley. Reporting to the Technology Director, this position will provide systems accounting advice and expertise to ensure the success of the D365 platform in operation and all future implementation projects. Paramount to this role is your attention to detail, as well as your experience in implementing systems in complex organisations.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the D365 general ledger platform and all associated systems.
• Work with and be part of the D365 Australia & Global project teams.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance staff to meet business requirements.
• Participate in & support Business Systems Projects, initiatives & improvements as required, including liaising and managing between Finance, IT & D365 project teams as needed to achieve best outcomes.
• Provide assistance as required for system upgrades, troubleshoot, undertake root cause analysis and resolution of system issues.
• Provide support escalation point for system or and financial data issues that cannot be resolved by frontline Support teams.
• Work closely with Global D365 Technical and Support teams to escalate issues and where appropriate, manage through to resolution.
• Contribute and actively maintain regional and global D365 system knowledgebases.
• Train and support system users in the use of current systems and procedures.
• Review systems performance and identify system issues.
• Design and implement internal system controls (preventative and detective) to provide quality assurance over financial data.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive financial experience.
• In addition to your work experience you will bring qualifications in Commerce/Accounting and/or Information Systems qualifications.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 or ERP systems, is desirable
• Ability to explain financial concepts and impacts to non-financial managers.
• Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with that various levels of staff within the business.
• Highly proficient in excel.
• Experience working with BI Tools such as Power BI and strong interest in reporting systems.
• Be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and maintain job responsibilities.
