As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing new features and integrations for a variety of internal and external business platforms, including Wireline and Mobile provisioning platforms.
• Working with clients to solve complex problems, providing options while ensuring they have the tailored solutions required to meet their objectives.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Adhering to best-practices.
• Contributing to the evolution of our software development practices and architecture.

Skills & qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge level with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong working knowledge and demonstrated experience with the following technologies: Linux usage and scripting, SQL Databases (including the development of SQL scripts and stored procedures), and Java based web services
• Confident Front End (React/JavaScript/CSS) developer and designer
• Confident Back End (JavaScript and/or Java) developer
• Proficient understanding of Sprint Boot, Apache Camel, Jboss EAP, HAProxy.
• Experienced in Application Containerization.
• Knowledgeable in Distributed Systems Orchestration.
• Basic to Advanced Knowledge of Networking and Infrastructure
• Experience with version control systems (preferably, Git)
• Experience working as a member of a Scrum development team
• The successful candidate must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 upon hire, subject to Federal Human rights law.
