We’re looking for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team! In this key position, you will be responsible for driving the recruitment process across a variety of open positions in order to find, hire, and retain qualified candidates to support our organization’s recruitment strategy.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also be responsible for the following :

• Work closely with Managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs.
• Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms, job fairs, professional networks, Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
• Post jobs to appropriate job boards / newspapers / colleges etc.
• Assess applicants’ knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
• Work closely with HR Business Partners during the candidate offer process.
• Coordinate with the Onboarding Specialists to ensure a smooth candidate experience, set up onboarding appointments and follow up during the process when necessary.
• Conduct external and internal applicant screening calls and interviews.
• Foster long-term relationships with candidates, past applicants and potential candidates.
• Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events as requested.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Associate’s Degree and four (4) years’ experience in a recruitment related position or eight (8) years’ experience in a recruitment related position can be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
• Computer proficiency, organizational skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with human service staffing needs preferred.
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Compensation : Base pay is $55,000 annually.

Hours : This is a full-time, 40 hour / week position.
