About the role

The Social Work Educator- Mental Health Program role will facilitate the requirements of the Statewide Allied Health Mental Health Graduate Program and ensure the support and competency requirements are met for Social Work graduates. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership in SW Mental Health Learning & Teaching and collaborate with the Interprofessional graduate program to facilitate great outcomes for novice learners at Eastern Health.

The role is funded at 0.8EFT (2022) for one year with ongoing funding secured at present for 0.4 EFT in 2023 and potential for ongoing funding pending.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Social Work qualification

Post Graduate qualifications in education and/or mental health desirable

Experience in the mental health setting

Experience working with novice learners

Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Excellent communication and organisational skills
