About the role

Following on from the recommendations from the Royal Commissions into Victoria’s Mental Health System, Eastern Health’s Mental Health Program will see significant growth over the coming years, particularly in community service delivery. The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisory will work closely with the Mental Health Royal Commission team, Mental Health managers, Talent Acquisition team and other stakeholders at Eastern Health and the wider People and Culture team to ensure our current and future workforce needs are met. This role will be accountable for the creation and implementation of a talent acquisition strategy for the Mental Health Program and will grow, manage and qualify Eastern Health’s mental health candidate talent pipeline in readiness for current and future vacancies, ensuring that a high quality of recruitment and candidate care is maintained.

You will work closely with hiring managers to provide a supported and strategic guided recruitment service including providing advice and education on best practice recruitment. The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisory will report to the Associate Director of Talent Acquisition and work alongside the wider Talent Acquisition team.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Understanding of recruitment best practices and knowledge of the latest practices in attracting and selection

Volume Health Professional Recruitment experience essential, including international and interstate recruitment

Development and implementation of targeted recruitment campaigns

Proven recruitment and selection experience, preferably in health

Demonstrated experience utilising recruitment databases and strategic sourcing and talent pipelining methods

Advanced user capability with LinkedIn, Social Media platforms and online job boards

Excellent time management skills to meet regular and conflicting deadlines

Creative thinker and proactive problem solver

Ability to build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (Senior management team, Human Resources and line managers as required) and external stakeholders (e.g. recruitment agents)
