HR Officer – Swale Academies Trust

Salary: £23,654 – £26,913 SAT 7

2 permanent positions available.

Position 1:
Full time. 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Working all year round.

Salary £23,654 – £26,913

Position 2:
Part time. 22.5 hours a week, 3 days a week. Working all year round

Salary £14,383 – £16,365 pro rata

We have an exciting new opportunity to appoint 2 HR Officer’s to cover our schools in the East Sussex region.

Working under the direction of our East Sussex Business partner, each of the successful candidates would be expected to work one-day week in each of their appointed schools, being a key point of contact for staff related matters, helping to provide an effective advisory and support function within the Trust’s East Sussex Schools.

Position 1: The Turing School, Peacehaven Community School and The Eastbourne Academy.

Position 2: Shinewater Primary School, Langney Primary School and The Parkland Federation.

This opportunity will challenge and develop your HR knowledge along with your organisational skills, so drive, enthusiasm and creativeness is essential, as is a level 5 CIPD or be working towards one. You will be required to have up to date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice along with an understanding of staff pay and payroll processes.

Previous experience of working within the education sector would be an advantage but it is not essential.
