This role offers a great starting point for those without a Human Resources or Health & Safety background, or those looking for a new challenge, to gain experience and exposure across different areas of a fast-paced, well-regarded Human Resources & Organisational Development (HR&OD) service.
As an HR Advisor, you will support in ensuring the right advice, tools and guidance are in place for our customers to succeed. You will take an active role in the delivery of our health and safety advisory service and support the management of our contract that provides temporary agency staff.
You’ll be working closely with two of our HR&OD Teams – Health & Safety and Contracts. Your day-to-day will include a variety of tasks from communicating with customers and inbox management, through to supporting on projects and taking a lead in reviewing policies and web content. You’ll be empowered to get on and deliver your priorities, whilst receiving great support and training.

Are able to work independently using their own initiative
Can plan and prioritise their workload efficiently

This post is fixed term for 12-months and full time however, we are happy to consider job-share applications and other flexible working requests. We have adopted a hybrid working model, with flexibility for a combination of home and office working each week. Our teams are based at County Hall, Lewes.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

Package Description
