Job Introduction
Do you have a background in working in education and are you looking for a new and exciting challenge?
ISEND are looking for an Elective Home Education Support & Advice Officer to work in the West of the county, with some countywide travel. The post involves providing advice, guidance and support for families who have chosen to home educate their children.
You will be working as a part of a small team. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with parents. You will be ascertaining the suitability of education provision parents are delivering and providing advice and signposting. This post will involve doing home visits and running a drop-in centre.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
