The Directorate of Children, Families and Schools has developed a new ‘Education Safeguarding Team’ that will sit within its Children, Young People, Education and Schools service area. The primary role of the new team is to support educational establishments within the Council area to safeguard and protect children and young people.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to lead this team. You will need to have a proven record as a senior safeguarding leader, either within an educational setting or similar large organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring the educational elements of the Directorate’s improvement plans are met, this will involve both support and challenge.
