East Pointe Search Group, Inc Hiring for Special Education Teacher Full Time

Are you passionate about helping children disabilities? This opportunity is very rewarding in helping students reach their full potential. Work with students who have learning, mental, emotional or physical disabilities. Adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects to students with disabilities. Teach basic life skills.

Candidate must be able to identify individual needs and write IEP’s, write lesson plans and create an inspiring and supportive learning environment. An ability to communicate with other team members and student’s families is highly important.
Teach a small group of students, assess students’ work done in class, develop and adapt individual teaching methods suitable for each student.

Work within and provide a productive and safe classroom environment. Teacher’s aides working along side you each day.

Program operates on a school year beginning the end of August until June. Monday through Friday — 8am – 3pm

Preferred teaching degree with a special education certification. Candidates with similar degrees including other Education, Social Services, Psychology or other with the desire to obtain a Special Education certification will also be considered .

Pre-Employment Screenings include: Criminal History Check, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Clearance, Mandated ing Certificate

Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Requires a Valid PA DL and insurability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
