Corporate Development Manager

Our client is a leading corporate operating in the core plus infrastructure sector, backed by two of Australia’s top investment funds. The business is experiencing impressive and sustained growth, continuing to outperform its competitors.

They are looking to appoint a Corporate Development Manager – who will work closely with the C-suite, senior business leaders and investors – assisting the business to achieve its strategic goals through M&A and organic growth.

This will be a diverse and evolving role, with plenty of autonomy and a range of responsibilities including; corporate development (assisting with originating and executing M&A transactions), supporting senior leaders and business partners with commercial projects and involvement in the strategy and corporate planning process. In addition to this, there will be ad-hoc projects where you will need to utilise your strong technical skills and commercial acumen to develop creative solutions to challenges facing the business.

You will work with a team of high performing individuals, who have vast experience in the sector, in a supportive, collaborative and flexible environment.

The successful candidate will have strong technical and stakeholder engagement skills, with c.7-10 years’ prior experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, Big 4 M&A advisory or corporate development. Experience in executing M&A transactions is strongly favoured.
