East Partnership Hiring for Associate – Corporate Development – Real Estate Investments at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

Our client is a successful and growing real estate investment platform with a strong track record of success across asset classes. With a mix of institutional, wholesale and retail capital, they have been able to deliver consistent, long-term value for their shareholders. They are currently looking to appoint an Associate to their Corporate Development team.

This will be a broad role which will support the development and execution of the corporate strategy, any M&A initiatives undertaken by the business and investor relations, including financial analysis and creating presentations for investors and analysts. More specifically the role will involve:

• Leading due diligence workstreams for key projects;
• Project management of company responses to investor activity;
• Supporting capital raising efforts for existing and new funds;
• Competitor research and analysis;
• Building and maintaining relationships across the business and with external stakeholders, from investors to specialist advisors.

The successful candidate will have c.3-5 years’ corporate finance experience – ideally from investment banking, Big 4 advisory, corporate development or a related investment management role – with a passion for real estate investing and who wants to get hands-on exposure to senior decision makers in a top tier corporate. Strong analytical ability, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills will be essential for this position.
