Eassons operates approximately 325 trucks and employs over 500 people. Eassons Transportation Group provides dry and temperature controlled TL/LTL services across Canada and the United States.

As the first point of contact at our HQ in Kentville NS the Receptionist has an important role in keeping with professionalism appearance and attitude.

Core duties:

Welcome visitors in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries; greeting and signing in visitors in a timely and professional manner
Business casual dress code
Maintaining the reception area
Ordering/managing office supplies
Monitor/keep track of in/out of office staff
Ensure visitors are attended to
Receives and sends packages via couriers
Various administrative activities
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum 1 years verifiable experience in a similar position

PC skills/ literacy (i.e. Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 50WPM+
Telephone – switchboard experience
High school diploma or equivalent required

Ability to retain large amounts of information regarding the multiple services we offer and ensuring calls are directed correctly the first time
Ability to keep personal/confidential information just that… confidential
Outstanding communication skills and excellent phone demeanor
Polished and professional
A warm, friendly personality with a knack to keep conversations on point and end timely but professionally
