EASE Logistics Hiring for Customer Service Representative at Dublin, OH Full Time

Summary: To ensure that all our available loads are being locked down with Ease approved carriers. CSRs will be handling high volumes of inbound calls to book and track freight while also utilizing resources to call out to approved carriers for availability.

Essential Duties:

Operational:

· Follow Ease process for correct check calls for entire duration of load

· Use relationships to help establish a more broad carrier capacity

· Work as a team to book and track freight

· Follow Ease process to identify and solve issues

· Help manage workday by helping answer phone calls

· Customer communication etiquette is always a top priority

· Follow response time per Ease standard operating procedure

Carrier Services:

· Work closely with the Carrier Sales Manager to book freight and assign carriers to available freight ensuring on time performance is met.

· Build relationships with carriers to understand needs and secure utilization of carrier assets.

· Analyze and negotiate rates with carriers based on current market prices.

· React with sense of urgency to solve problems and look for ways to improve operational inefficiencies from inbound calls.

· Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to book loads when carriers are not calling in on them.

· Dispatch drivers to shippers and receivers based on customer needs.

· Work with the entire operations team to provide the best customer service to customers.

· Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers to ensure on-time pick ups and delivers for customers.

· Update Account Managers on any issues that arise throughout the life of a load and look for solutions for those problems.

· Ensure all operations are reviewed before leaving or assigns to the appropriate EASE personnel.

· Be able to multitask and provide customer service to our carriers and customers alike.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
