We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator (Diploma qualified) to work part-time (Wed-Fri) at an exceeding private school with the four-year-old group. This is a maternity leave appointment for three terms however due to the size of the school there remain possible casual opportunities beyond this term for the right candidate.

About us

You will be joining a highly respected private preparatory and preschool that has exceeded seven out of seven elements for many A&Rs. This independent school is considered a leader in the early childhood education and care space. This role would suit someone who is presently in the final year or two of their Bachelor course and wants to benefit from the terrific infrastructure and environment on offer.

At the service Educators and Teachers work collaboratively to create learning experiences that celebrate who children really are and their own unique gifts that they have. Woven into these programs are the five outcomes identified by the EYLF. To add icing to the cake, there is a plethora of extracurricular activities on offer including music and sports lessons led by specialist teachers, a weekly Chess Club, Mandarin language classes, Code Camp and a Martial Methods program.

About you

• A deep passion for delivering excellence in early childhood education and care
• A warm and welcoming disposition
• A completed ACECQA approved Diploma (or above)
• Solid knowledge of the NQF including EYLF and NQS and their application
• Experience working with 3-5-year-olds
• A confident communicator who is team-orientated.
• Excellent programming and observation skills
• Working With Children Check (Employer)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management (Requirement)
