Summary

The Supervisor – Security Operations is responsible for the leadership of the security of the
Security team at the property. This involves the oversight of the Security Department and as well as some aspects of our compliance obligations. The incumbent must effectively manage the development and direction of this team to ensure they are operating effectively, safely, and in a manner that is aligned with our core values of Communication, Accountability, Innovation, and

Job Duties

• Manage and oversee personnel and daily operations of the Security Department personnel.
• Ensure that new employees are trained and oriented as appropriate for their new positions; performing follow-up sessions to ensure their proper fit within the company.
• Make recommendations for professional development opportunities for staff.
• Responsible for ensuring department records/s including incident s, security logs, insurance s, service agreements, fire plans, emergency evacuation procedures, and standard operating procedures are completed (by designated employees as appropriate) and retained.
• Responsible for ensuring departmental administrative documents including employee timecards, expense s, and personnel records are accurately completed (by designated employee as appropriate) and retained.
• Develop and implement new strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures that contribute to improved company performance.
• Monitor departmental performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary.
• Meet regularly with department heads/business unit leaders to keep updated with company events and issues.

• Develop, analyze and on key performance indicators.
• Coordinate with Finance and direct supervisor to ensure of the Security Operations are conducted in line with budget.
• Responsible for coordinating security projects including requesting bids, making recommendations and/or decisions on suppliers and contractors, serving as the primary liaison with suppliers and contractors, as well as ensuring projects are completed according to specification.
• Ensure employees are setting the appropriate priorities for security to best enable the property to provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Complete research and ing on compliance matters as directed by the

President/General Manager or designate.

• Keep current with applicable governmental regulations.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
• 5 or more years previous supervisory experience in a security-related field with proven leadership abilities.
• Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles.
• Holds a clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization.
• Ability to create and monitor departmental budgets.
• Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Maintains a high level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
• Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
• Maintains a well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.

Working Conditions

• Able to work according to business needs including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
• Computer use.
• Overtime as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $51,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
