Eagle Point Health Care Center Hiring for Director of Nursing (DON) Full Time

Eagle Point is seeking an experienced, strong and organized leader to join our team as the Director of Nursing. In this position, you will direct and supervise the staff of the Nursing Department.

Primary Functions:

• Directs and supervises nursing assignments/schedules to accomplish all goals for resident care
• Reviews the physical status and health care needs of each resident admitted into the facility and assist the attending physician in planning for the resident’s needs
• Effectively coordinates with departments to assure quality care in a wholesome environment
• Effectively communicates with and completes written evaluations for nursing staff
• Keeps Administrator informed of resident’s status

Education, Experience and Training:

• Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in lowa

Scheduling:

• Regular attendance is required.
• Must be agreeable/able to work flexible hours.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
