E3 Recruitment Looking for Multi -Skilled Maintenance Engineers at Sheffield, South Yorkshire Full Time

An opportunity for a number of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join our global Client that design, manufacture and deliver world-class steel forgings and castings.

Our client have already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high profile projects and on the back of this they have been recently awarded another major contract and thus are looking to add a number of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers on a permanent position.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global business, that established Sheffield’s reputation as a Steel making power house.

They offer an unparallel service in the world of complex steel and take on projects other steel companies cannot do due to the intellectual capacity and the nous the company have.

Currently with a head count of 600 plus employees and working in specialist areas of Defence, Civil Nuclear and the Renewables market.

DUTIES INCLUDE FOR THE ROLE OF MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS :

• Planned preventative Maintenance and daily repair work on a wide variety of heavy engineering plant and equipment.
• *Troubleshooting of known and unknown issues related to plant breakdown.
• *To diagnose and remedy equipment/plant faults.
• *Ensure that all parts required are booked out correctly and recorded as necessary.
• *Working 3-phase motors and variable speed drive systems.
• *Electrical modifications to existing machinery to improve production process.
• *Breakdowns, Upgrades and Safety checks.
• *Electrical Installation.

KEEN TO SPEAK TO MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS WHO ARE :

• Apprentice Trained Multi – Skilled Maintenance Engineers (either Electrically or Mechanically biased).
• Multi – Skilled Maintenance Engineers with a Heavy Engineering/ Hot working background.
• Experience in area’s such as Forge, Foundry, Melt Shops, Work Rolls and Machine Shops.

THE OFFER FOR THE ROLE OF MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS :

• Salary is up to £40,000 per Annum plus overtime is available.
• Shift work – Average of 39 hours per week.
