E-J Electric Installation Hiring for Healthcare Operations Manager at Long Island City, NY Full Time

Position Description

E-J is seeking an experienced individual to join our company as a Healthcare Operations Manager who will be responsible to lead and oversee work on several major hospital projects simultaneously with an in-depth involvement of all phases of electrical construction projects. Responsibilities include:

• Leadership and direction at the program level (multiple projects, multiple customers)
• Advanced negotiation and contract management skills
• Communicates and reinforces the Company Vision and Core Values
• Overseeing and participating in the pre-construction, estimating, and design of projects
• Ensuring that projects are being completed on schedule and within budget

Operations

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout
• Ability to drive construction productivity
• Works with Safety director to ensure jobs have safe working conditions and safe work practices are in place
• Monitors and ensures quality control
• Promotes Teamwork. Trains and mentors project managers.
• Participate in project meetings – Kick-off, Monthly and Close Out

Management

• Develop and monitor and manage the budget to actual cost process
• Responsible for review of monthly financial s with PM’s and VP
• Reviews and negotiates potential change orders with clients
• Understands multi-trade construction sequencing
• Analyze and resolve issues that arise within project execution

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical construction experience in a Project Executive role
• Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, presentation, and analytical skills a necessity
