Reporting to Director of Product Management, the ideal candidate would either be an experienced product owner who is looking for a new challenge; or a highly motivated individual who loves technology and is passionate about delivering industry-leading products, have leadership capabilities, and be enthusiastic about working with a highly skilled team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Work with development teams on a day-to-day basis and provide vision and direction to help them deliver value to customers
Ensure team backlog is maintained and team has enough work for at least two iterations
Provide input and take part in definition of roadmap and product vision
Collaborate with product management to distill product roadmap items into actionable work in the form of epics and user stories
Work closely with design, development, and QA to ensure product is delivered on time and with utmost quality
Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products
Collaborate with product delivery, marketing, sales and leadership on Product Go To Market strategy and execution
Play an active role in mitigating risk and removing impediments that impact successful delivery of product
Help improve product delivery processes
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (MBA preferred)
Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skill. Excellent presentation skills
Manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
Quickly learn new products, technologies, and industries
Communicate product details and performance metrics to internal teams
Troubleshoot product issues and answer product questions – be the product “expert”
Experience as a QA Analyst, Technical Support or Software Developer is preferred
Experience in the automotive industry is preferred
