Summary

A Distinguished Developer is responsible to coordinate between the product managers, development managers, stakeholders, and teams to set technical direction and develop existing and new capabilities for our digital wholesale, auction and retailing platform. Continuous involvement in the overall application strategy and development lifecycle is required.

What you will do:
Work with our infrastructure, software development and data engineering teams to drive the overall architecture of the platform.

Help develop and nurture engineering best practices and culture.

Work with product managers, managers, and teams to complete projects that further the business

Support developed solutions in production

Write code

What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field

Experience on large complex Java application development

Experience with scaling applications that grow at 10+x per year

Excellent communications skills

Critical thinking and autonomy

Strong knowledge of application architecture and best practices

Excellent pull request review skills and attention to detail
