Major Functions and Responsibilities
Provide technical support throughout the organization as required
Install, configure, test, maintatin and troubleshoot end user hardware and software.
Conduct deployment of computer hardware and software.
Coordinate and facilitate move, add, and change requests as required.
Provide support for Microsoft Office (2010, 2013) and Windows (7, 8.1) workstations and tablets
Provide support for healthcare applications including Sunquest and Copath.
Assess the need for, and implement performance upgrades to, PC’s.
Collaborate with Systems Administrators to ensure efficient operation of the desktop computing environment.
Maintain inventory of all computer hardware.

Required Experience
Working knowledge of Health Information Act, Privacy legislation, and other guidelines and regulations
Experience with Helpdesk ticketing systems
Experience supporting Skype for Business (Lync) corporate UC systems
Minimum Qualifications
College diploma or University degree in the field of computer science or software engineering or 2+ years equivalent work experience.
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology preferred.
A+ certification preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory drivers abstract
Other Information:
This position will include travel within Edmonton and Alberta as required
Applicant(s) hired into this position will be required to provide a 5 year Driver’s Abstract as a condition of employment.
