DWS Hiring for IT Helpdesk Support Job at Melbourne Full Time

You will need strong organisational skills and customer service focus as you will be helping to support our employees nationally – typically singlehandedly for first line enquiries.

Start: ASAP
Location: Hybrid CBD office + work from home (WFH)
Type: 6 month fixed term, with view to permanent after that
Salary: $60K package (including super)

All applicants must hold Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency (PR), or other permanent work rights – DWS are unable to sponsor or support visas.

Duties will include:

• Being the first point of contact for incoming IT helpdesk requests and incidents via email and telephone (first line support)
• Providing IT support to DWS Group staff nationally
• Managing the new starter and leaver IT processes
• IT hardware (staff laptops) and software installations
• Organising and coordinating building security cards
• Escalating to 2nd and 3rd line support as required

Ideal Applicant:

• Degree in IT, OR up to 1 year of 1st line IT Helpdesk experience
• Knowledge of various Windows desktop and server platforms + Office 365 Enterprise, Active Directory
• Excellent communication skills
• A customer focused ‘Can Do’ attitude
• The ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for IT
