Our technicians have continued working during the pandemic, providing what has been considered an essential service. We are taking every precaution to reduce exposure to the virus both in the office and in the field by limiting employee interaction and touch points, doubling down on available sanitizer, masks, gloves and wipes, and changing the way we work at commercial and residential sites to be sure our employees and the communities they work in are protected.

Position:
We currently looking for Customer Service Technicians to join our Installation & Repair division in Halifax, NS. Our Customer Service Technicians are authorized agents with Bell Aliant and work shift schedules 7 days a week to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair television, telephone, high-speed internet, and related services in a professional, friendly manner at residential locations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in fibre and/or copper installation and repair considered an asset
• Strong customer service skills
• Positive attitude with the ability to work well with colleagues and clients
• Self-motivated, with time management skills
• Adaptable with the ability to confidently make decisions under little supervision
• Ability to use various hand tools and small power tools

Requirements:

• Ready, willing, and able to work throughout the current pandemic
• Flexible to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Available to work 40 hours per week, with the potential for overtime hours, if needed
• Available for overnight travel throughout the province
• Valid driver’s license with a clear driver’s abstract
• Clear criminal background check
• Ability to lift 75lbs and carry, climb, and work from a ladder
