Duxton Capital Hiring for Finance Officer – Wine Portfolio Job at Stirling Full Time

This is an exciting time to be joining the Duxton Capital team. As a business we continue to grow our operations and therefore are building an exceptional team based in our prestigious offices located in Stirling.

This diverse hands-on role will include maintaining record and financial transaction of for our large scale winery, Duxton Vineyards and our growing dried fruit business, Duxton Dried Fruit.

This is not a cookie cutter accounting role. You will need to think outside the square, partner closely with business stakeholders located in Stirling and Sunraysia.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Raising and processing invoices in an accurate and timely manner and communicating inconsistencies with the accountant;
• Processing reimbursement requests as required;
• Preparation of monthly Business Activity Statements
• Management of customer records & contracts
• Preparation of sales and harvest data summaries
• Assistance with Fixed Assets and monitoring Capital WIP spend (including reconciliations)
• Assistance with cash flow forecasting
• Assistance with month end preparation including general ledger reconciliations
• Preparation of batch payments and end of month reporting;
• Use initiative to create systems and efficiency across the team for clients under your responsibility;
• Data entry of all financial information in a timely and accurate manner;
• Contacting suppliers and communicating payment terms and updates; and
• Back up duties for the Accountant

About you:

• Qualification in bookkeeping or extensive experience in a similar role;
• Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• A positive attitude and the resilience to work in a changing environment;
