The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Finance Analyst to join our cohesive and collaborative team within the Dulux Coatings business. Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you will provide financial leadership to all activities associated with our manufacturing sites to improve their business performance and shareholder value.

You will provide financial direction and analysis for a share of the manufacturing sites in Australia as well as Supply Chain functional areas.

With an ability to build close relationships with manufacturing sites and their respective stakeholders, you will play a key role in providing financial inputs, forecasting & budgeting activities, and management reporting for the sites.

This is an exciting role where no two days are the same, but on a typical day you might find yourself;

• Providing advice, answering questions, and influencing finance-related decisions
• Preparing product costing analysis for the sites, and ensuring any major variances are investigated and explained
• Reviewing site raw material and packaging stocktake outcomes
• Driving the implementation of processes or control improvements
• Providing relevant and useful financial measures into key business activities
• Providing general accounting support in line with business requirements

What you will bring and develop

With a minimum of 5 years’ Management Accounting experience, you will already have a good foundation of understanding and experience preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing environment. You will have the desire to continually learn and grow while engaging with various aspects of the business from the ground up.

To be successful in this role you will also demonstrate:

• Tertiary qualification in accounting or related field
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards it
• Prior work experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain is highly desirable
• Advanced Excel skills needed
• Experience of SAP or any other ERP function is desired
• Confidence interacting with people of all technical abilities and levels within the organisation
• Attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights into performance to a variety of stakeholders in an effective way
• Results orientation, and the ability to meet deadlines
