We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Assistant, based out of Clayton.

In this role, you will navigate complex entity and reporting structures. You will possess a sound understanding of financial reporting, process, control, and governance principles.

Day to day you will:

• Perform allocated month end processes and procedures in a timely and accurate manner
• Financial reporting and in-depth analysis of cost and training figures
• Be responsible for development of budget planning for each new year
• Be responsible for financial modelling to forecast cost centre requirements
• Liaise with Bunning’s and Bunnings connect for key KPI and latest store updates
• Provide full confidential and administrative support to the Sales Capability Team, by completing on a timely basis the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks as identified.

What you will bring and develop:

You will bring continuous improvement mindset, flexible approach and ‘can do attitude’ to succeed in this role. You will bring a curious and analytical mindset. Ideally you can demonstrate:

• Experience in an analytical role in finance, or a similar role.
• A willingness to learn and build a career in the financial space
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data
• Experience working with SAP
• High level proficiency in Excel
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
