Duco Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at London, England Full Time

Duco Technology has evolved from a tiny startup in 2013 to an award-winning multinational organisation with over 190 employees across the UK, US, Singapore and Poland today. We’re now in a very high-growth stage, following recent investment, so we urgently need a talented Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of our UK talent acquisition programme over the next few months.

Spoiler alert: this won’t be a ‘standard’ recruiter job where you just process hundreds of vacancies and candidates. We’d want you to take a strategic approach to hiring, and only get hands-on where needed to really push through hiring plans and key vacancies.

Who Duco is and what we do: *

Headquartered in London, Duco is a SaaS (Software as a Service) company. We help companies solve their most complex data problems with our quick and intuitive software. Our Engineering Team, spread across the UK and Poland, is by far the biggest department. They work particularly closely with our Product, Customer Success, Customer Success Engineering, Strategy and Solutions, and Sales teams, all of which have a strong presence in the London office. We anticipate the role will require you to hire 50:50 tech: non-tech roles.

There is strong support for the people agenda at all levels and regions of the business. Working closely with our existing in-house Talent Partner and the wider People Team, you’ll drive all of Duco’s hiring efforts in the UK, taking ownership of the entire recruitment process.

• 6-month fixed-term, full-time contract
• Competitive base salary of £55k – £60K per annum

Key responsibilities

• Assess requirements against the current candidate market (taking into account recent changes and trends) and recommend the best hiring strategies and sources to help ensure a strong and consistent pipeline
• Own the hiring process from start to finish alongside our in-house recruitment team
• Proactively create new pipeline sources where needed, eg job boards, external partnerships, agencies, organisations, platforms, etc.
• Actively source candidates for key roles, leveraging your own network of contacts and relevant social media
• Conduct telephone, virtual, and in-person interviews to further explore skills and suitability for each position
• Partner with and utilise agencies and headhunters when required
• Actively push all vacancies to achieve swift and good hires
• In conjunction with your People Team colleagues, provide active guidance to hiring managers to help them achieve good plans and outcomes
• Update hiring records and produce key stats and metrics to track and reflect progress clearly week to week

Requirements

• Solid experience in a similar role within the technology sector (in a SaaS and/or high-growth company would be even better)
• Extensive experience in leading proactive search
• Experience working with engineering teams and hiring for technical roles such as Developer, Engineering Manager, UI/US, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to ensuring a smooth and effective recruitment process for all parties involved
• Experience in using computer software and ATS system
• Acute eye for detail, ability to work at pace in a fast-moving and changeable environment, and a desire to produce quantifiable results
• Sense of humour, drive to deliver results, enthusiasm and passion for people
