The Opportunity

As part of the engineering team your role is to create and maintain new applications utilising the latest tools and technologies.

The Role

• Liaising with colleagues to implement technical designs
• Produce clean, efficient code
• Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures
• Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems
• Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes
• Investigating and using new technologies where relevant
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years development experience
• C#, .NET Core and Entity framework
• Up-to date practices of microservice architectures
• Source control and agile methodologies
• Previous commercial experience in developing distributed high-volume public facing web solutions
• Proficient with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Kubernetes and DevOps
• Strong Microsoft SQL Database design, development, and performance tuning
• Good hands-on knowledge of Web Application Performance
• Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Knowledge of telephony VoIP protocols including SIP and RTP is highly desirable
