Senior Accountant

Summary:

The position will be responsible to work directly with our Controller and broader management team to help grow the business and further develop our accounting function. This person will be a key contributor in building out accounting reports, assist with financial closes, working with our operations team on activities including purchasing, invoice reconciliation/payment, and to better adopt newer scalable practices of operations and development activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Support a Finance and Accounting function via building out AP, AR and reconciliation industry best practices to ensure rapid and scalable accounting operations

2. Calculate, post, and balance accounts payable and accounts receivable subsidiary ledgers

3. Prepare weekly and monthly departmental spend and vendor analyses to ensure accuracy of business transactions occurring in general ledger accounts

4. Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual close processes

5. Assist with internal and external audits

6. Assist with preparation of financial statements if needed

7. Assist with payroll and timecard responsibilities

8. Assist with sales tax preparation

9. Perform certain treasury duties around invoicing, ACH, Wire and check management

10. Maintain internal controls and help recommend areas of opportunity to improve

11. Constantly improve Microsoft Dynamic practices

12. Drive improvements in the areas of credit/collections, trade spend oversight, vendor and customer terms, policies, etc.

13. Assist with physical inventories counts audits

REQUREMENT SKILL AND REQUIREMENT PREFFERED

· 5+ years working experience as Accounting professional in credible company

· Must have 3 years+ working experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Comparable ERP System

· Degree in Accounting

· Strong budgeting, financial forecasting and financial analysis skills required

· Fluent in English; Chinese or Vietnamese speaking preferable but not essential

· Experience with using Microsoft Suite Tools (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Teams)

· High Attention to detail and Accuracy.

· Cross functional collaboration skills & high level of communication
