The role of Accounts is to perform the daily clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that DSV’s finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner. With an emphasis on discovering your potential and determination to connect with your fellow forwarders, this is an opportunity for you to thrive in a close and supportive team environment, valuing active listening and diversity of thinking.

What you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
• Receive supplier/vendor Statements and prepare reconciliations for payment. (Domestic)
• Prepare Supplier/Vendor payments (Domestic) as per policies and procedures
• File all documents as per policy and procedure
• Print and distribute financial s as required
• Liaise with staff and suppliers to ensure issues are resolved
• Identify any time consuming bottlenecks and recommend improvement processes
• Working as part of the Finance team you will be cross trained in other functions and will assist other team members when required

About You:

• Experience in accounts payable, reconciling accounts and maintaining general ledgers
• Accurate data entry skills using Excel are essential
• Outstanding communication skills and a problem solving orientation
