We have a fantastic opportunity at our Paper Mill in Kemsley for a Training & Development Officer to join our expanding Continuous Excellence department. You’ll be leading the side of the team that focuses on our people, and how we can best develop them so that our site continues to set a high standard and build an excellent reputation in the wider industry.
You’ll be working closely with your immediate colleagues to ensure that all of our people on site have had the relevant training and are armed with up to date information so that they can carry out their responsibilities in a safe and effective way on a daily basis. You’ll set up frameworks and processes that allow us to keep all qualifications up to date, track the progress of colleagues on various programs, and identify skills gaps that we can focus on in the near-term future so that our people are constantly developing themselves.
This is a role that requires you to develop strong relationships with lots of different teams, including operations teams and HR, so a genuine interest and significant experience in improving the personal and professional skills of your colleagues will be crucial to the success of your and your team.

Experience in a large, complex, manufacturing organisation
Confident when undertaking and leading change programs across a site
Excellent networker and relationship builder
Strong presentation skills
Great IT literacy, with the ability to understand and work with new systems
