About the programme
Our scheme runs for a minimum of two years and will give you the foundation to succeed in Human Resources with the potential to become one of our inspiring leaders at DS Smith. Through different placements, supported by structured development, mentoring, access to leading edge thinking and professional networks, you will build skills across the range of HR disciplines including Talent & Performance, Learning & Development, Resourcing, Employee Relations and Business Partnering, whilst also developing as a future DS Smith leader.
Within this programme you could be based in one of our corporate offices or within one of our key operational sites, therefore flexibility on location will be key to succeed within the scheme.
Alongside the HR skills you’ll develop, you’ll be in a cohort of graduates and together we’ll offer you a world class development programme which will support you in becoming one of our future leaders.
In year one the focus is on understanding yourself; your skills, your strengths and how to realise your potential.
In year two your development will be about understanding others, how to work effectively in teams and how to support others.
You’ll then be in charge of your own career pathway, whether within an HR specialism or as a Business Partner and we’ll support you continue to grow at DS Smith.
About you:
To be considered for this scheme you must have as a minimum:
A degree in a HR or Business related discipline (or due to achieve this by September 2022).
Hold the relevant right to work documentation to work within the UK or the EU.
Fluent in English and the country you’re applying within.
Ability to demonstrate initiative and personal accountability.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers, stakeholders and suppliers.
Track of teamwork experience.
Passion for achieving results with an high level of commitment.
Be fully flexible and geographically mobile.
