D&S Machine Service, Inc Hiring for Controller Job at Luxemburg, WI Full Time

D&S Machine Service is looking for an experienced, highly organized, accounting professional to lead our team and company as Controller. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, self motivator, with the knowledge and experience to provide the company President with accurate financial data.

Duties:

• Oversees the maintenance of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP
• Oversees and assists with all accounting functions within the company
• Responsible for timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statement preparation
• Maintain proper financial controls to ensure reliable and accurate financial reports, as well as integrity of such information
• Work directly with external CPA firm(s) to complete annual financial review, corporate tax filings, and annual 401k audit
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll, sales tax, and other basic form filings
• Assist insurance brokers regarding all forms of insurance to ensure best coverage and rates for the company (general liability, property, worker’s compensation, health, etc.)
• Creatively improve employee benefit packages to assist in employee recruitment/retention and assist employees in using such benefit packages
• Maintain a strict code of confidentiality at all times, understand basic PHI/HIPPA standards and labor/discrimination laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
