DroneUp LLC Hiring for Director – Talent Acquisition Optimization Job at Virginia Beach, VA Full Time

DroneUp is a fast-paced, advanced aviation technology company and we’re seeking an exceptional Talent Acquisition operations and optimization leader and capacity-builder equipped to scale and support the hypergrowth of the company. The Director, Talent Acquisition Optimization, will be the architect of the talent acquisition strategy focused on automated sourcing strategies, recruitment marketing, employer branding, ATS/CRM functionality, integration, and reporting to drive increased employer visibility and talent attraction aligned with our culture for roles in technology, product, software and systems engineering, IT, aviation, drone pilots, logistics, operations, corporate support, and various other functions. This position will lead, develop, and continue to build out best-in-class Talent Acquisition operations, reporting, marketing, technology, and optimization strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead automated sourcing strategies, recruitment marketing, employer branding, ATS/CRM functionality, integration, and reporting to drive hiring of exceptional, diverse talent across the organization at all levels
• Lead and support the development of geographic, regional recruitment strategies, and talent pools to support drone delivery and enterprise drone operations growth (i.e., local community, UAS colleges, military, and transferable/adjacent industries)
• Serve as partner to our supplier partners to manage relationships, drive integrations, utilization and adoption of paid media and recruitment technology services
• Partner with marketing and HR on our digital and social media strategy to highlight DroneUp’s culture and work environment to attract prospective candidates in various fields
• Oversee, manage, and select outside recruiting/staffing firms, independent contractors, and talent acquisition systems and tools
• Deliver a best-in-class experience across the sourcing, recruiting, and hiring optimization delivery through strategic initiatives

Requirements:

• MBA or MA in related field and SPHR a plus, but not required
• Authentic, transformational, or servant leader who can build trust, model the way, inspire others, and influence stakeholders
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition; high-growth, innovative, global, and scaling businesses, ideally in the tech, aviation, and/or logistics space, a plus
• Expert knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, processes, and tools
• Strategic thinker that can simultaneously focus on tactical and operational issues with demonstrated experience in managing multiple, on-going deliverables from multiple stakeholders Innovative and forward-thinking talent philosophy
