The Accounting Analyst II will support general and technical accounting matters for the Driven Shared Services team. This individual will have strong experience in the core general accounting areas and be willing to learn. This position will have exposure to all the brands and other departments as well. Additional key responsibilities will be establishing and maintaining effective internal controls as well as identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies. The ideal candidate will possess a go getter type mentality, who wants to constantly learn and grow, be a team player and is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare key items the Shared Services group is responsible for
- Assist in timely month end closes
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Facilitate audit requests and answering internal questions as they pertain to the individual’s workload
- Maintain and strengthen internal control framework
- Participate and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Encourage and implement efficiency gains
- Leverage existing systems and future systems to enhance group’s productivity and efficiency
- Partner effectively with FP&A and other departments
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- 2+ years of relevant experience (Public Accounting, Industry or mix)
- Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
- Must be able to manage daily and month-end workflows meet month-, quarter- and year-end accounting and reporting requirements.
- Self-Starter, skilled in diagnosing and coming up with solutions to problems
- Advanced in Microsoft Office applications
