DRG Food LLC Hiring for Bookkeeper Job at Sonoma, CA Full Time

A&C Ventures is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic growing team.

Local real estate investment group in need of a bookkeeper to work underneath leadership team. He/she will take responsibility for the daily accounting activities that are required to properly maintain the General Ledger. These responsibilities include A/R, A/P, reconciliations, inventory fixed asset accounting, and payroll expenses. The Bookkeeper is also responsible for supporting the business goals and objectives of the organization by working closely with the Partners to coordinate any time sensitive projects. Furthermore, undertake other tasks and projects, as needed.

What will you do?

• Accounting duties for multiple entities owned and managed by the owner. That include, but not limited to:

• Daily cash management and processing of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Issue invoices to customers and related entities
• Issue intercompany invoices for reimbursement
• Set up wires transfers as needed
• Prepare monthly financials by a set deadline that include but are not limited to cash flow projections, balance sheets, and income statements
• Reconcile monthly bank accounts

• Maintenance of an organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions
• Process monthly payroll for multiple entities and issue 1099’s at year end
• Process expense reports and credit card statements timely and accurately
• Preparation of workpapers for annual tax filings such as property and business license filings.
• Communicate with outside CPA tax firm and send appropriate financials when required
• Processing insurance renewals for multiple entities and properties

• Work in conjunction with multiple departments to monitor and analyze accuracy of record keeping, while working to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources
• Informs leadership of any issues and/or impacts to the financial health of the organization
• Respond to the inquiries regarding financial results and special reporting requests

Are you qualified?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• Associate Degree in Accounting required
• Certification a plus
• 5+ years’ experience in accounting required
• 3+ years’ experience in payroll processing and ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local laws
• Must have strong understanding of all facets of accounting (i.e. A/R, A/P, reconciliations, inventory fixed asset accounting, and payroll expenses)
• Advanced Proficiency in QuickBooks required
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or Similar Payroll System required
• Proficiency in Yardi preferred
• Prior experience with real estate investments preferred
