About the role
You will assist in the development and delivery of the global strategic HR priorities across Dremio to provide an Gnarly-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, high performance, and employee retention and development. Assist the Head of Employee Experience with HR services, policies, and programs to ensure the engagement, retention and wellbeing of our EMEA Gnarlies including: policy documentation and compliance, Gnarly relations and recognition, performance management, development and Gnarly communication engagement. Our Dremio-EMEA team is growing rapidly and they need a strong EMEA Manager to partner with and deliver an effective HR business partnering model to support and deliver our EMEA-HR agenda!
What you’ll be doing
Development of the EMEA People Team:
Actively contributes to the Global HR Team and assists key projects/areas of responsibility on a global basis
Assists in the implementation of HR programs, identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves problems
Assists in conducting a continuing study of all HR policies, programs, and practices to keep informed of new developments and make updates as required
Maintains the EMEA-HR section of Dremio Central (our intranet)
Interfaces with our 3rd party HR back-office vendor for purposes of employee status and compensation changes
Provides analysis and recommendations in talent management, workforce planning and resourcing and conducts benchmarking activities as required
Assists with the talent development programs and learning and development curriculum
Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Employee Experience
Employee Relations:
Establishes a positive Dremio-Gnarly relationship and promotes a high level of employee morale and motivation.
Delivers regional orientation for new Gnarlies (onboarding) and conducts exit meetings
Conducts investigations and assists in handling employee relations matters across the region.
Compensation:
Assists in monitoring best practices in compensation and benefits through research and up-to-date information on available products
Administration of the annual salary review and equity awards
Legal and Immigration:
Manages the global mobility program for EMEA Gnarlies and is the contact for all inbound employees to the EMEA region
Assists in the preparation of information requested or required for compliance with laws
Handling of domestic immigration issues and international work permits
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, Business or Organization Development
Considerable HR generalist experience within an international environment with local employment law knowledge
Previous experience of managing complex employee relations across the EMEA region
Experience with HRIS systems
Experienced in developing resourcing strategy and interviewing
Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to operate with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
Ability to exercise discretion, sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy in all communications
Excellent relationship management skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
Demonstration of continuing professional development
